Description
Iron Removal Filters (IRF) are used in water treatment and waste water treatment to remove the iron content present in the water.
HeatExclusive filters are manufactured in various grades of material suitable to the process and based on bespoke needs of customers. Made from high grade material, our filters work efficiently under pressure as water passes through the filter from different filter media grade and block the unwanted impurities at the filter bed. To flush out the collected dirt and to clean the filter bed, it is facilitated with backwash arrangement.
The raw water flows down from the filter inlet through the filter media. When the raw water passes through the media, the iron and manganese particles are oxidized thereby killing the bacteria present in the water. The filtered water can be collected at the outlet of the filter.
As per the SOP*, the filter media has to be cleaned periodically using the back wash method.
